For the game it's very simple, if the ad was not fully watched, it will not give out a reward, regardless of the cause.
When you tap on a button to watch an ad, the client (this is the app) sends a message to the ad network requesting an ad. The network will send an ad, and after being played in full, the network tells the client that the video has been watched.
When the client receives the confirmation that the ad was fully watched, then it tells our servers to award the reward for it.
There are a few things that can go wrong in between the player tapping on the button and receiving the reward:
- Ad networks amount of ads for you has expired and has no ads to show you
- VPN's - prevent the ad from being shown
- Device's settings - prevent ads from being shown
- Internet connection is lost - and ad is not received
If any of these happen, then the client (app) will never receive a confirmation that the ad was watched and therefore will not give out a reward.
1. Ran out of ads
Solution: Wait until the network's timer expires and you can get new ones. We don't know how long this will take, but it could be a couple of days.
Ad Networks will only give a certain number of ads per day per player. If you use different devices connected to the same account, then all the ads you watch from any app and any device count for this number.
If you use all of them, then the network won't assign you a new ad until their timer has expired.
Solution: Disable your VPN.
VPN's might cause conflict with ad networks. Disabling it might help you.
3. Device's settings
Solution: Enable ads on your device.
iOS devices in particular have problems watching ads because a setting was introduced in one of the updates that is enabled by default. This setting blocks ads. Trying the following might help you.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Location services > System and untap the following:
- Location-Based Alerts
- Location-Based Apple Ads
- Location-Based Suggestions
- WiFi networking
4. Internet connection lost
Solution: Check if your network is switching from for example 4G to 3G. If your network changes, there is usually a small gap where connection is interrupted.
You can also check if your WiFi is on, if your router has crashed, if you have reached the limit on your data, or any other reason why your network connection might be down.
